Welcome to my PortfolioHowdy and Halito(hello in choctaw),
What started as a requirement to fulfill my undergraduate degree requirements has turned into a digital catalogue of my work. I want to remember that things that I have done and the lessons that I have learned because it strengths my perspective as I move forward. This encompasses many opportunities and adventures that I am honored to have taken part in and I believe that sharing them in this capacity also can inspire other young Black and Indigenous People of Color to go out and become the great individuals that I know they can be. Each tab offers something a little different, feel free to browse and/or contact me for any questions. |

Bachelor of Arts in Social and Behavioral SciencesIn 2021 I attended my graduation by "drive thru", although it was a good memory meant to have great meaning, somehow it did not feel whole. But almost a year later in 2022 (during my graduate studies), I was invited back to give an in-person speech to my graduating class within the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, that is where I mentally concluded my undergraduate journey. This collection serves as a reminder of where and how I started, the memories of a person aspiring to do more, to become more. Please view the CSUMB Collection links below.

Master of Arts in Cultural StudiesIn my most recent educational journey I received a Master of Arts degree in Cultural Studies from the University of Washington. As an extension of the work that was constructed and completed this Portfolio serves as a visual aid of some of my favorite moments or learning points throughout my studies. Items, documents, and other doses shared are a reflection of pieces of my development and not to be perceived as a catch-all of my knowledge. Please view some of the quick links below to my Capstone Collection.

Creative SpaceDose of Darchelle strides to recognize the pieces of ourselves that make us uniquely beautiful through art and other creations. I believe that in this constantly changing and growing world, we don’t have to fit ourselves into trends or global inspirations.
Our bodies, minds, and capabilities are uniquely beautiful just the way they are! The only change that needs to happen is what you want to see for yourself not what others determine for you. Thank you for following along as I carve out the different ways we can envision beauty. Check out my Shop!!! |
